MARYSVILLE – Matt Crockett, a behavioral healthcare executive with hospital management experience, has been named the new chief executive officer at the Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital still under construction but set to open in June.

Crockett will lead the senior management team at the 115-bed hospital at 3955 156th St. NE in Marysville.

The 70,000-square-foot facility to be operated by US HealthVest is midway through construction. The facility will provide specialized services for mental health and chemical dependency children, adolescents, adults and seniors.

The hospital will bring about 250 jobs to the area.
