Marysville Kiwanis Club hosts first in-person/Zoom combo meeting

It was such a great feeling uniting Marysville Kiwanis Club members for our first in-person club meeting last night since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. We took extra precautions at our new location in the Marysville Strawberry Festival Office, 1412 First St., and we’re making them hybrid meetings so members have the option to join us on Zoom (thanks to member Josh Estes for helping with this, and thanks to Aktion Club members for “zooming” in!) And lastly, thanks to our first guest speaker, Snohomish County Councilman Nate Nehring, who gave us a detailed rundown of the county’s handling of the pandemic, new online budget tools, road projects, embedded social worker success stories, and more. Interested in joining the club? We’re looking for new members interested in volunteering on projects that support children and youth in our community.
